Refund and Zero Tolerance Policy

At Little Haiti Global Inc. (“LHG”), we are committed to creating a bold and groundbreaking program that supports participants and host countries with transparency, fairness, and accountability. Our refund policy is designed to honor our commitments while ensuring that all participants understand their responsibilities before enrolling in the program.

Application & Background Fee

  • The Application Fee and Background Screening Fee are non-refundable under any circumstances.
  • These fees cover administrative costs and background verification.

In-Country Program Participation Fee

The In-Country Program Participation Fee is a core part of your participation. These fees apply after a participant has been accepted into the program and has lived in the host country for one day or more. While all program funds are generally non-refundable, there are limited exceptions:

Refund Exceptions

A partial refund of the remaining fees may be issued only in the following cases:

  • If, during the program’s specified duration, a host country requires multiple visas or extensions and denies your continued stay at the time of issuance or renewal out of no fault of your own or reasons beyond your control.
  • If the host country or LHG is unable to secure your visa for the full duration of stay that was originally promised.
 

In these situations, the refund will be calculated based on the unused portion of your Program Participation Fee and will be issued to you at the time of your official departure from the host country.

Non-Refundable Circumstances

No refund will be issued if a participant:

  • Provides false or misleading information on their application.
  • Voluntarily withdraws from the program or chooses to return to their home or another country.
  • Commits a crime or engages in illegal activity of any kind, whether minor or severe. Such individuals will be subject to removal from the program and returned to their country of legal residence or origin.
  • Engages in behavior that jeopardizes the safety, dignity, or stability of the host community.
 

Events Beyond LHG Control

LHG does not issue refunds for circumstances outside of our control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters (hurricanes, earthquakes, floods, etc.)
  • Political unrest or instability
  • Acts of war or terrorism
  • Global health crises or pandemics
  • Any other unforeseen event that prevents program continuity
 

Refunds are only considered if the disruption is caused solely by LHG or the host country’s inability to provide the visa arrangements promised for no fault of your own.

  • LHG does not willfully accept individuals with a criminal record into the program. This is our promise to our host nations and to every participant who joins us.
  • Our mission is to provide a safe, structured, and dignified pathway for Haitians seeking to relocate, retire, or reset their lives abroad.
